Magnetic Marble Run

Movement, magnetism and a child’s own discoveries come together in one engaging toy. This magnetic marble run for children from 18 months lets little ones watch the large rolling element move up and down with a fascinating magnetic effect. With a little skill, the child can even create a continuous loop – watching again and again how their own actions change the result.

This is a toy that does more than entertain. It naturally encourages the question: “What happens if I try again?”

Scandinavian design that keeps the focus on play

The subtle colour palette, generous use of natural, untreated wood and simple shape create a calm, Scandinavian-style toy that fits beautifully into a modern children’s room without overwhelming the space with unnecessary visual stimulation.

The wide base provides good stability, while the compact size makes it easy to place on the floor, a low table or an accessible play shelf. The design also visually complements the Modular Marble Run range.

A first introduction to magnetism and cause and effect

The child moves and tilts the track, observes how the rolling element reacts and gradually begins to understand that every action has an effect. In this way, play helps develop hand-eye coordination, motor skills, movement control, attention and perception.

The magnetic effect gives children an intuitive first experience of magnetism – without theory, simply through experimenting and observing. This kind of hands-on discovery in early childhood helps nurture curiosity and a desire to find solutions independently.

How children can use it in everyday play

At first, the child may simply enjoy watching the disc move along the track. Later, they can try to control its direction and speed, repeat the movement or achieve the “endless loop”.

For parents, it is a compact, calm and reusable screen-free educational toy that requires no complicated preparation while still offering new experiments and challenges over time.

Durable materials for long-lasting play

The marble run is made from wood, plastic and metal, with the natural wooden surface playing a prominent role in the overall design. The robust construction and wide base are designed for stable, repeated use.

Wood is a durable material, and the simple mechanical play concept means the toy can be enjoyed again and again without batteries or electronics.

Safety for little explorers

The product is intended for children from 18 months. As the toy uses a magnetic mechanism, it is advisable to check before each use that the construction is intact and that no part has become loose.

The toy should always be used according to the manufacturer’s recommended age and safety instructions. If the documentation for this specific model does not list FSC, PEFC or specific EN 71 test numbers, these should not be presented as confirmed certifications.
