Colourful Wooden Xylophone for Children

The first melodies begin with a single sound. This colourful wooden xylophone for children aged 3+ offers a playful introduction to sound, rhythm and music. By striking the different coloured tone bars with the mallets, children can experiment, compare sounds and gradually discover how individual notes can form rhythms and simple melodies.

Making music is more than just a fun activity – it helps develop auditory perception, a sense of rhythm, hand-eye coordination, concentration and movement precision, while also giving children the freedom to improvise and create their own music.

A first instrument that invites experimentation

The xylophone does not require any previous musical knowledge. At first, simply striking the different bars and listening to how the sounds change is enough. Later, parents can repeat simple rhythms together with the child, count beats or try to create a melody.

This kind of free musical play helps children understand the principle of cause and effect – every movement creates a specific sound – while also encouraging creativity and self-expression.

Colourful design for the children’s room

The combination of natural wood and bright colours gives the instrument a modern rainbow-style design. Its simple shape keeps the focus on playing, while the colourful tone bars attract the child’s attention and help visually distinguish between different notes.

The xylophone is compact enough to keep in a child’s music or play area and easy to take along when needed.

Wood, durability and thoughtful quality

The xylophone is made mainly from wood – a durable and pleasant material suitable for long-term use. A quality wooden musical instrument can last much longer than short-lived electronic toys and requires no batteries.

SMALL FOOT pays particular attention to the safety of toy materials, paints and coatings. The manufacturer’s quality control takes European toy safety requirements into account, including EN 71-3 requirements concerning the migration of certain elements in toy materials.

For safe music-making

The product is intended for children from 3 years of age. All packaging and fastening elements should be removed before use, and the instrument and mallets should be checked regularly for damage. The product should be used according to the manufacturer’s instructions and recommended age group.
